This is because many of IcEDCave's other levels gained more traction, such as levels like Diamond Blade, Final Destination, and Hypnosis. After the second-and-a-half preview, the level somewhat died down, with less progress made over time. On August 18, 2020, a second-and-a-half preview of the level premiered on IcEDCave's YouTube channel, with the new version of the song and botted gameplay by Xanii. IcEDCave also got permission to use the song from one of XVA's members. He and EndLevel made a remastered version of the song, with the gunshot- and explosion sounds taken out and remade from scratch, except for the glitch sound at the end. This led to IcEDCave privatizing the two previews of the level.
IcEDCave took the audio for the level from a CS: GO montage, which confused because when people tried to find the song for the level, they would find the CS: GO edit of the song, go into the comment section, and spam variations of "WHO'S HERE FROM SLAUGHTERHOUSE!?!", etc. These two previews have since been set to private by IcEDCave, but they were reuploaded on SKOE99's channel. The first two previews of Slaughterhouse were posted on IcEDCave's YouTube channel in May-June 2020. The first known video of the level was posted to YouTube on July 6, 2019. spaceuk won the race, verifying the level on October 24, 2021. A possible version of the level was in the process of verification, which was a race between spaceuk, RaeveZ, Xanii, Trick, Photonic, and Zamasu.
